DC told me that he was using the Tetris 99 Theme as a placeholder. It fit well. I originally use the exact same chord progression as Tetris... but.. that turned out WAY too Tetrisy, it was distracting. So the final version I used a less compelling chords to try and not create that weird Tetris x Pac-Man dissonance.

Overall, I think the Tetris 99 still shows through without sounding too obvious, it fits well with the gameplay, and has some cute homages to the 1980 arcade game.
